I thought the smaller size fit well except for not being able to layer but the new one in my regular size really fits perfect. &nbsp;It's a little roomier where I needed it, in the body. It is a tiny bit longer in the sleeves but not that you would notice. Overall I'd say it looks the same, slim and tailored and the roomier version helps it drape well and look right, and I can wear heavier knits comfortably. &nbsp;Now I can see the smaller coat was a tad skimpy. I did order a size down from my usual size from what reviewers said. &nbsp;The coat fits me perfectly if I only wear a light layer so I'm now ordering my normal size so I can have flexibility in wearing a heavier sweater. My big concern is the sleeve length being too long and perhaps to coat might look oversized. That is reassuring. Actually, I am slowly getting smarter. I buttoned up the coat and looked at it on the hanger and lying flat. It is not meant to be A-line. It has a straight cut with a little extra curvature in the booty area, so I guess the model has tiny hips and no booty, as a model does.</p> <p><b>Smittie</b>, yeah, I realize the arms are slightly long on me, but I don’t mind this length for winter outerwear.</p> <p><b>Suz</b>, it is a super nice coat and the lining is also beautiful. I was shocked by how soft the wool is. There is an extra tag promising it is waterproof and breathable wool, which is important to me because I hate worrying about my peacoat in the rain and snow. Also, important to me, the navy is not too dark. My NAS is definitely more expensive than I wanted it to be! But actually I don’t mind so much because I am in a wardrobe rebuilding phase and I can get much more for my dollar this way. Maybe trying it on with the thickest layer you may use it with and wearing it around the house for bit will help (crazy advice because where I am is supposed to hit 100+ for the next few days). Will you drive in this coat? Raising my arms in driving position is usually a tell tale sign for me.
