Are they 8.5 due to comfort or color? I think the color looks good. I like the look of a contrasting heel, though. I think they’re more durable, for me anyway, because I’m hard on shoes. I’m also price conscious. I have found perfect shoes but then looked at the price and said forget it. I own... I don’t know, five or six pairs of their pumps, some sandals, and a pair of boots that have just gotten better with age. Most of these shoes are 2-4 years old and still in great shape.</p> <p>Schutz is part of Alexandre Birman, which is very high end.</p> <p>I think your pearl boots look really sharp - BUT - I don’t know how hanging onto something and not wearing it, while your search for a 10, would work out. It means you’ve tied up money in a potential orphan, and you’re missing all the fun of white booties. I’d say give it one week, and if you don’t find your 10s, commit to wearing these, or commit to returning them and continuing your search. I bought some white boots 2 - 3 years ago and was not sure whether I would wear them. They are complete workhorses and give a bit of a modern edge to outfits. Besides being much less, I also liked that they had a matching instead of contrasting heel.<br /> Overall I’m find the boots to be well made, the heel is a smidge higher than I’d like, but very comfortable as the pitch really good.<br /> They are not white white, more like a pearl or creamy white, so I’ve shown them with a white sweater.<br /> Overall I’d give them a 8.5. So I’m trying to decide if I keep looking for a 10-which I’m afraid would cost me twice as much, or do I say that an 8.5 is pretty darn good-and much more budget friendly. (finds 3 &amp;4 where other boots s I was considering)<br /> As always I’m interested in hearing what you have to say...all feedback and thoughts welcome </p>
