I thrifted them, and it's been made apparent to me that they are not a good fit!</p> <p>A peacoat isn't as warm as a down jacket. My brothers wore genuine US Navy peacoats when they were teens in the San Francisco Bay Area. I guess I assumed New Zealand had a climate similar to Northern California. It was chilly there due to the marine air, but never snowed.</p> <p>I live at higher elevation and we get snow. The fit is better on it in the shoulders, a little tighter in the hips.&nbsp; <br />The charcoal seems too big on the shoulders and in the arms (arms are big and too long), but the hips fit better.
