My initial thought was that I far prefer the Majesty coat. That has always been my issue with peacoats, that they don't drape. I was lucky to find the Fleurette on consignment... Btw I love your Miss Sixty coat! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/peacoat-profusion#post-1079814 Sat, 09 Nov 2013 05:20:14 +0000 Makrame 1079814@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I got all of the peacoats I ordered, took some pictures with better lighting, and I am thoroughly confused - can't decide what to think.</p> <p>Normally this time of year (transition to winter, temps in 30-40F) I wear black Miss Sixty coat (#1) (above the knee length). &nbsp;It's very practical, machine washable, has a hood - in other words, very useful for day to day wear. &nbsp;However, this fall I started toying with the idea of adding a peacoat as an alternative to the black coat.</p> <p>#2 - Loft navy coat.<br />#3 -5 - Lands End coat (actually, these are two different sizes (6 in #4 and 8 in #5) and two different colors (garnet vs. raspberry) but I can't really tell the difference in these photos. &nbsp;Although I think the shoulders in #5 look too wide, so perhaps size 8 is too big.<br />#6 - JCrew majesty peacoat.</p> <p>Loft coat was $96, Landsend $80, JCrew is the most expensive at $225.</p> <p>Any thoughts? &nbsp;Is it worthwhile to consider one of these as an addition to the black coat? &nbsp;TIA! </p>
