I never ever related to anything "athletic" in my life until the last few years, and even then, it's still hard to accept the word "athlete" applied to myself (yes, even several half marathons, a century, and a 500-mile bike ride later!). Even though I am very active, I don't look much like an athlete -- I remain curvy and never attain that lean athletic build. So one would think that dressing in a sporty style might clash with my body type. However, it seems to work for me, happily, because I like the slightly tomboyish vibe. I'm glad you all see in them what I do. </p> <p>I would recommend these to anyone with a slightly narrow or low-volume foot. Theyre cushiony and seem really comfortable for walking. I like the chunkier pointy toe twist on a classic loafer style, and the neoprene-ish material gives them a little sporty luxe vibe. I think they are mostly for pants but maybe you will prove otherwise. I think they look nice on you and you will be comfortable in them.<br /> I also tried them but they were a little narrow and the fabric is not stretchy like leather so they did not work for me.<br /> I got the oxfords which are similar although not as nice but they are patent and suede and will be good for Winter.
