I opt for interesting knits instead of prints and wear them as I normally would. So while I'm not a huge fan of tights and shorts, I think they'd look great with any dress or skirt.</p> <p>My favorite pair is sweater knit. Since it's cold here ALL THE TIME (which I hate) I wear a white eyelet minidress with a black long sleeved t-shirt under it, along with my tights and black cowboy boots or flats. I wear them with my plain LBD in the winter (the pattern ads visual interest &#38; texture to an otherwise simple outfit) with heels. I have also sported them with black boots and a black cord knee-length skirt. I usually stick with smaller sort of patterns and only really wear them when they don't compete with the rest of my outfit. I'd always wanted to sport that look, but had no guts to do it in the U.S. But europe - different story!</p> <p>I don't wear skirts and dresses much in the fall/winter months, but I am hoping I can give this another shot, now that I'm gaining more confidence in the fashion area.
