That doesn’t really have anything to do with this thread, except that I’ve been so grateful for your virtual presence during the hardest months of my life. </p> <p>Secondly, though, and the real reason I’m posting…I’ve been making subtle changes to my surroundings as I try to reconcile myself to my new reality. I’m not sure when I’ll be up to touching Kevin’s office or our shared closet, but changing out my bedcovers and adding some plants seemed doable and helpful. </p> <p>I’ve been struggling with trying to “match” the gorgeous headboard we got a few months ago, so I decided to apply the same ALL THE PATTERNS concept I sometimes take with my wardrobe to the bed. I ordered a kantha blanket blind (they’re all unique, so you get whatever pattern and colors you get) and determined to use it no matter what. The two sides are radically different, so I folded it to show both. Added other pillows and blankets I had around the house, put up a new plant hanger, and here’s where things stand now. (Also added pics showing both sides of the blanket.) </p>
