So I’d be open to something along the edgier lines rather than more boho/ditsy. </p> <p>I only have one true patchwork item in my wardrobe — this suede skirt that must be at least 15 years old. It almost fits again. It’s knee length so wearable for me in winter with black tights and black knee-high boots. Maybe this winter we will be back out in the world again and I can wear it! </p> <p>My old oversized leather Philip Lim vest is sort of faux patchwork — the textured areas are not stitched together but on the same piece of material. </p> <p>And I have two sort of faux patchwork pieces — prints that evoke patchwork. One is a sentimental skirt my mom bought for me while we were shopping together many years ago. It’s still wearable and I may pull it out again for an outing. </p> <p>The other one is a Lucky Brand tie-front shirt that works well for super casual summer wear. The color scheme makes it good for Fourth of July. </p>
