The items are made for their purpose and do not wear out fast. I have a backpack that I bought over a decade ago -- it gets heavy, heavy use (literally) and looks as good as new. Patagonia is one of my all time favorite brands. Selfishly, I hope the company doesn't change without the owner at the helm.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'd say things run a bit small. Which reminds me I will need to lose a few for my coat to fit me for skiing, lol!&nbsp;</p> <p>One thing that's never announced very loudly (and I think it's still true) is that they have a lifetime guarantee on their products. So as <b>JAileen</b> mentioned, they'll fix or repair anything.
