I think of cords as autumn/winter pants, so mine are usually darker colors. I see pastel color cords being sold and can't figure out when I would wear them. I think of pastels as a spring color but cords as a winter material. Or maybe because I'm in the NE they just don't seem to go with my black down coat and black boots. </p>
