I can't stand stiff shirts either - I found a soft light "denim" one at BR year before last, and I think they might still sell a version of it - not as dark as pictured but it is a deeper color than chambray so I guess it depends on what you want for color.<br /><br />I'm wondering if that skirt is just a bit hard to style though - so I guess if it were me, I wouldn't try to buy anything specifically for it for fear of building around an item that is challenging - &nbsp;I think I would choose to keep trying things I have and things I just want anyway, and if something does work out with the skirt, fine. You know what I mean? <br /><br />That said, a V-neck banded bottom&nbsp;linen sweater or knit (3/4 sleeves or long sleeve) seems like a great option for that skirt. I was thinking more of a long sleeve (light weight) chambray with the sleeves rolled and scrunched -- untucked with maybe a belt. Again, trying to figure out a way to "roughen" up that skirt a bit. Instead of being drapey, it is fitted. In particular, there is something off (IMO) about the fitted sleeve with this skirt. I am not sure how a long drapey top would work on your body type (that is a really tough look for anyone to wear -- volume on volume).&nbsp;<br /><br /><a rel="nofollow" href="http://pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=full+linen+skirt">I looked up "full linen skirt" on pinterest.</a> A lot of the pins show historical costumes, and many of the others simply show an unstyled skirt. This gives you a clue why it might be tough to style this well -- the skirt, while lovely and practical for you, may in fact be a bit dated.&nbsp;<br /><br />If you want to try a drapey top with this, maybe going low contrast again would be the most successful. Another option would be a more fitted top tucked in and belted. You could try a simple tank or a button down.&nbsp;That wouldn't be a "current' look but it would be classic. Again, I'd probably go for plain white (for a white on white look) and if you need to add navy to echo the skirt's piping then maybe in an accessory?
