Second pair would be #2, I just love the look! They are fab! If you choose #4, I would leave out #1 and take the second ones. It all depends on what sort of laces you have, if you want to shorten them. You can simply cut leather ones. For synthetic braided ones are these little plastic ends best. Aida's suggestion is really smart, and I am going to try it with all four. But the OTKs seem hardest to style, unless I just wear them with anything. Suggestions? I love #2 but #1 (non-black, suede and lace-up) fills a lot of holes. On another note, on boot #2, the laces are super-long now that I've tightened them. Any ideas on how to shorten laces short of having to re-lace the entire boot? I'd say, if you're lacking in the dressy casual area, try styling each of these boots at least 3 ways AS dressy casual and see how you feel about them. To tell you the truth, I like all of these! I love the lace-up boots and I also really dig the Kork-Ease ones. I loove wedges, and these are certainly wedge-tastic! I do wonder about the versatility of the bronze color, but they would probably look just dandy with jeans. Given the Alaskan winters, would you be better off with flatter styles? (just trying to put my aesthetic-related thoughts aside and think about the practical stuff) It's hard for me to evaluate the OTK boots in terms of fit, because the tops of the boots just blend in with the dark pants. I'm about to add a 4th pair into the mix. OMG, I ADORE these! They are the Miss Sixty OTK boots. They have a small heel and are unbelievably soft and comfortable. However, they may be too high on me, and I'm a little concerned about age-appropriateness.
