Almost all of my shopping is done online, so it helps to have some idea of comparable fits.</p> <p>KL, Sloan fit must be simply miraculous, because I usually have trouble with waist gaping if the hips and thighs fit well. Maybe it's the stretch of the fabric. Although they are jeans, I liked the fit of LOFT's Petite Modern Skinny Jeans, so you could try other Modern fit trousers at Ann Taylor or LOFT. I also really like the Zelda fit at Express--still jeans, but you could ask an SA what their equivalent in trousers is.</p> <p>Have to add, also--I have a terrible time shopping for pants, so if that's your situation too, I emphathize. It sounds kinda like the Mercer fit from Eddie Bauer. They have several fit types just like BR - it might be worth trying them out. They usually have a few styles of each type in store but the website/catalog has a lot more choices. Also, maybe the Modern fit from Ann Taylor? So far I only have my sloans in micro-striped navy - I would be over the moon if they released some more colors. Maybe they will do textures when the Fall lines come out? They have a Sloan ankle-length pant that came in navy and a gray pinstripe. I absolutely love it. I have the black flare and the dark gray straight-leg, but all that is available right now is black in either fit. I would like to get a couple more pairs of trousers in a similar fit, but in other colors (such as light gray or taupe) or a pattern like tweed or herringbone. Any help would be appreciated!</p> <p>ETA: I need petite sizing, so that would be a bonus. </p>
