I would take both pairs in and see what they'd suggest for tailoring. Even in the 8, I had too much leg room.&nbsp;They are too pricey to not be perfect. The ink and black pattern is perfect and the fabric is substantial. They would work with lots of tops, including the Lafayette cardigan. I first ordered the 10 and they were really big.&nbsp;So I&nbsp;ordered the 8 but that didn't work either. They were still too big in the leg and a bit too tight at the waist.&nbsp; So both sizes are going back but I think I am still keeping the cardigan. </p>
