I tried everything on again today with better footwear and was able to make a decision. It was great to have all of you help me take off the "sale goggles" and see what really worked. I liked the Originals but the fit in the back and side was not very flattering--despite the great price, I sent them back. Same goes for the linen pants--I just felt like there was too much fabric everywhere. I tried the RS on with the only boots that I can currently get on (and walk in) and I needed the extra room in the 8's to get them to sit over my boots properly. I also decided it would be nice to have jeans that I can just throw in the dryer and not have to stress about air drying. There's also the fact that I'm more likely to get heavier rather than lighter so the extra room in the 8s may serve me better down the road. That's it in a nutshell. The way the fabric sort of folds over on the back pockets isn't as flattering as the way the others hang. It looks like the linen pants need to get returned or re-tried in a smaller size. (Honestly, I’m not sure if I will do either because I’m not sure they are going to be any more flattering.) I’m going to try the RS on again but I think the smaller size will stay. The larger size is too big in the waist (usually never a problem for me) and I want these as a skinny jean alternative. Still not 100% sure about the baggy jeans. The SBF is in the lead but there are a few fans of the original too. I will have to try styling them and see if that makes a difference. They all fit so differently too.&nbsp;<br />@Lisa: I thought the Originals fit better (not as baggy) but I wasn't sure about the tapering and length. IKWYM about the linen pants but I was wondering if I dismissed them too quickly. They aren't that sheer--they are also super loose so I don't think see through would be an issue. The RS are equally comfy but the waistband of the 8 is too big and needs a belt. The 6 not so much--I don't think I want these as BF fit--just something other than skinnies since I can't really get into my boots yet.&nbsp;<br />@pil: Hi back at ya! Thanks for confirming the Originals. I like the slightly less baggy butt but wasn't sure if they just look like ill fitting jeans rather than BFs!<br />@Carole and Karie: Thanks!
