Technically I'm a winter (probably dark winter), but those smoky-muted-cool tones are really my weakness, even if they don't always suit me. I actually pulled out my pale blues to mix with cream, grey, black, and silver for Holiday sparkle in my work capsule! Last spring Danier had yummy pastel leathers juxtaposed with black to toughen it up. Pale blue and tomatoe red is another combo I love.</p> <p>Not so sure about the pink. I do think blush is showing up more in home decor recently.<br /> The blue is a middling mid tone, not something I would personally choose until I realized it's not far off from some tencel/rayon "chambrays" that have been around lately and I do own some, I just see it as a neutral, like denim.<br /> Overall, it doesn't feel like Pantone is ahead of the curve so much as a bit behind. Maybe they want to look more influential in 2016 than some of their recent choices turned out to be.
