However I've found that the exact tones that pantone puts out don't usually match the clothes in the stores, which can be either a relief or very frustrating. </p> <p>I don't base the colors I wear on what's "in season," but I do pay attention to which colors are around so that I can stock up on the colors I want. These are my colors! I may have to break with SYC a little bit to stock up. I'm pretty firm that I don't want to break SYC but this is MY palette! Phlox (purple), cedar (olivey), deep teal (LOVE it, Sorry Lyn*), coffee, nougat , orchid and quarry (grey-blue) are perfect colors IMO. I also feel that way about a dusty coral that was practically all I wore in 2003-2004. It's an awful color on me. I saw lots of that Orchid Hush in the early summer and wondered who could wear that pinky grey. Actually none of the fall colors except maybe ember glow will work very well for me. I haven't seen anything in ember glow yet. Part of my NAS frustration was finding great pieces that didn't come in any colors I wanted. The bamboo/yellow raisin skirt Halogen skirt is an exception since the color is away from my face. I plan to wear it mostly with grey, black and white, and navy.
