I don’t expect it to enter my wardrobe unless it’s in a print. </p> <p>I just got home from a few days in NYC, and in some shops it seems a sea of beige tones is still what they’re pushing. I mean, fine, for those who like them, but it leaves me totally cold. I was delighted to enter some stores that had lovely shots of cobalt blue or other jewel tones. I just bought DH a pair of hiking pants in a very similar shade of soft, cool brown (I think it was called "carob" by the manufacturer). Looked up the predicted 2025 Pantone color a few weeks ago, and it was supposed to be an inky blue.</p> <p>Like Peach Fuzz, Mocha Mousse evokes some design element from around 1975 to 1980. Peach Fuzz looked like a prom dress from then, while Mocha Mousse looks like a kitchen interior from then. Mocha Mousse also looks very much like the color of clothing Rachel would wear on Friends. The more references a color can make, the catchier it is.&nbsp;</p> <p>How will I incorporate this color? I still have a sateen off-the-shoulder Peach Fuzz shirt I never wore from last year. Better get to that.
