This gray is a pretty good one for a light gray. Not too cool, not at all yellowed. I have a couple of long sleeved tees this color, one which i bought a few weeks ago and was a kind of HEWI. I find it is just the right neutral for me under a sweater, shirt or vest.</p> <p>I wouldn’t wear the yellow, or use in decorating, but I find it a pretty hue; almost reminds me of lemon chiffon pie.</p> <p>I’ve never been too sure how Pantone colors make their way into fashion and decorating. I interpret it more as a publicity move by Pantone rather than a true influence that reaches great swaths of the market. A few years ago, the color of the year was a lovely, deep, forest green, and it took years for me to see any clothing at popular retail level in that color. I finally got a sweater of that color from ModCloth late last winter. I haven’t even worn it yet... no occasion came up for a special new sweater while staying at home with plenty of other older but cute and comfy clothes. We’ve also had a fairly mild fall and December so far. When I was younger and moving a lot, I remember thinking how ridiculous it was that every home decor store was full of yellow chevron prints with grey and white accents. I felt over it then, still feel over it now.
