I am not so keen on cropped pants these days except in summer, mind you. I like the second pair where you have pinned them.<br /> At 5 foot 1.5 inches ( 156 cm) then 7/8 or “ankle grazer” pants make me very happy since they are often full length on me. I have been hemming pants for decades and am so happy if I don’t need to! But if the longer works better for you then that's what you should do.
