I agree with Torontogirl. The dress will take on the expensive feel of the accessories and the chic style of the wearer! I would also bring along the tried and true orange one, just in cast you still have misgivings once you get there. It can be cold in venues with A/C, so its heavier fabric might be just fine.

Completely agree with everything torontogirl said. Also, I have bought a number of less expensive dresses from Macys that I didn't expect to wear too many times and have always been satisfied with the quality. That dress is a beautiful color and the style/shape does not look cheap, and your styling plans sound great!. you probably know this already....a hotel in FLA will have good air conditioning, with their hot/humid climate they are experts.

I too second-guess and third-guess and fourth-guess .

Oh Gail ... I am Helena, Queen of the Self-Second-Guessers So I feel your pain, truly.

Don't panic - the dress is very pretty, the color combo sounds terrific, the nude shoes will add an expensive vibe. If the fabric looks ok, then don't worry too much about the quality - it only needs to last the night!! The color is gorgeous for a Florida wedding and if it's flattering on you then you are sure to glow.

My experience at weddings it that there is always somewhat of a mix of styles and levels of dress, regardless of how high end or simple, and therefore, no particular thing is likely to stand out. So trust yourself and enjoy!!

I have a wedding next weekend in Florida. I was planning to wear my orange Vince Camuto sheath dress but a few weeks ago decided that it may be a little too warm. It is quite a heavy fabric with 3/4 sleeves and a scalloped detail on the hem and sleeve. I wore it to 3 weddings last year and enjoyed it.
I looked around and found the turqouise dress in finds below last week and purchased it. I am now having second thoughts as the fabric is really quite cheap and I'm just not sure about it.
I was going to accessorize it with a fuchsia pashmina and gold jewelry , the color is good for me. I have nude Okala shoes that work with it. The wedding is going to be at the Biltmore Hotel and will be fancy , I'm starting to feel like I need something nicer with very little time left to shop. I always do this, second guess myself at the last minute. Does anyone else do this???
