The quality of Pajar is excellent. I find them to be a better fitting option than Sorels, which don't suit my feet at all. I have never purchased a pair of Sorel boots that did not rub in the heel. No similar problems with my Pajars.

Great find at the Bay. I have 2 pairs of Pajar and have had them for many many years. The quality is amazing: all natural items such as leather, sheepskin etc. I own a tall dress boot and an ankle boot. They have been terrific.
Suz is right - I am so darn tired of wearing the same boot I need a selection. I purchased the same ones as Suz, in grey. I consider these new ones my serious winter boots and wear them to the hockey arena.
Hope you enjoy your new boots!

They look great, Dee. Go for it!

And yes - the Kamiks have been brilliant and already earned out their cost -- in just a month! I wore them every day, which means they are down to about $2 per wear.

Oh, and I'm about to head out for the evening (-6F/-21C), so tags are coming off! Fingers crossed that they're nice and toasty.

Freckles, thanks so much for the info! And so sorry to hear about your flood! I would have let everything go too at that point.

Suz, I got the last pair in this style which were magically in my size. They are super-comfy and warm, so I hope that Glory's issue wasn't a quality one with this brand! I definitely understand the sick of them vibe. I managed last year with my snow boots for bad days and light boots for good days, but I'm sick of wearing gear ALL THE TIME, which is why I got these. Though it seems like lots of people here have had luck with the Kamiks so I hope yours are working for you.

Glory (who, like Freckles, lives in cold, snowy Ottawa) recommended this brand to me. I was going to buy a pair from the Bay earlier this year but they did not have my size so I moved on to the Kamiks that Una recommended instead. But I would definitely look to them.

The only thing that gives me pause is that in a completely different thread, Glory said she was unhappy this year with her winter boots and had shopped for more. Were they Pajar? Or were they something else? Or maybe she is just unhappy because, like most of us, she's had to wear them SO FREAKIN' OFTEN!!!!

I do think they have a great reputation, so if these are comfortable for you, I'd keep.

I haven't had any experience with this company in years but in the past they have been awesome.
I had a pair of knee hi sheepskin boots so a different style. Toasty, indestructable, yummy to wear. I would reccomend them highly but as said haven't bought anything in years and the only reason I got rid of them was as they got drenched in a flood. Didn't keep any greywater stuff...
They've won lots of awards for designs and production.

This might be a question for the Canadians, as Pajar appears to be a Canadian company. I picked up a pair of black Pajar Clara boots earlier today on clearance at the Bay. I like the look (somewhere between a duck boot and a regular boot) and I think it will work really well on days that I don't want to wear full on Keen snowboots but it's still too cold to wear any of my regular, non-lined boots. Good for running errands, etc.

I'm from the US originally so I'm not familar with the brand and I can't seem to find any reviews of this boot in particular. So I was wondering if anyone has any familiarity with Pajar in general that they could share before I take the tags off (go team wear!).
