I think they were 29s. I wear 30s in a lot of Paige cuts, but I seem to remember that these were cut quite generously. When I sized up, I actually felt uncomfortable (a lot of extra fabric at the crotch and in the butt). YMMV, of course! </p> <p>I actually ended up buying a pair of the Sexy Boyfriends at the Gap. They seemed a bit softer and lighter somehow, and I didn't size up too much because I know they will stretch. Paige's generally hold their shape very well over the course of a day and don't have a lot of give. </p> <p>My participation in the boyfriend trend will probably be on the "less baggy" side. I have a big aversion to a significantly dropped crotch on me, and I think I figured out why -- it creates a lot of extra fabric and visual girth, right where I'm widest. I remember a picture my sister captured of me once when I was wearing such pants (and I was walking in the photo, too).
