I am so happy I bit the bullet and purchased these jeans. I have never bought premium denim before - I almost always purchase my jeans at Gap - so even buying these on sale was spending more than I ever have on jeans. The comfort and fit make it totally worth it! I’m even thinking about ordering the straight/skinny version of these before the sale is over. Paige often works well for me, so I thought I’d jump on it while they’re on sale and my size was available. I tried them on very quickly, but I was too hot that day to have the patience for any kind of styling and assessment beyond, “yup, they fit,” and “they don’t look bad.” Your post is reminding me I need to take a closer look and also see how they compare to the bootcuts already in my closet. </p> <p>They do seem to be a bit closer to a baby bootcut than what I have. I’m thrilled to have to hem something shorter, and to not be trying to figure out had to <i>add</i> length. These are replacing my old Gap Resolution Slim Straights, which I wore into the ground.</p> <p>These are an Angie recommendation, so how could I doubt that they would work?! Thanks Angie!</p> <p>Please forgive the tee shirt and messy hair- it’s a “stay at home and clean” day. </p> <p>If you’re thinking about getting the Paige jeans, do it now! I think these are going to be real workhorses. </p>
