And it sounds like your mom is going to be much happier with more access to a community -- that's great.&nbsp;</p> <p>As far as packing goes, I'd want a pair of sandals for the upcoming hot, muggy weather, but I think maybe you're on Team Closed Toe with Angie? I'd probably also bring one other long-sleeved topper besides that gorgeous brown jacket. I like to have something soft and knit -- a cotton cardigan or hoodie -- to throw on first thing in the morning or getting home in the evening, when a woven jacket feels too structured. I'd probably also swap the jeans out for something looser and breezier: linen pants, slouchy chinos, or a lightweight athleisure type bottom? My denim languishes for a couple months in the summer. She is excited that her number is coming up for a spot at an assisted living community that seems to draw older creatives (art, music, theatre). &nbsp;I’ll be meeting with her social worker and financial guy, and helping her with some household editing. &nbsp;</p> <p> <div><br /></div><div>It’s supposed to be 4 stinkin’ hot days with rain, but we will be in and out of air conditioned spaces. &nbsp;In addition to the items in Finds below, I’ll be bringing verification of Covid vaccination, lots of face masks, and an umbrella. &nbsp;Toiletries, hair ties, electronics, and a book too. &nbsp; </p> <p> </div><div>Have I missed anything?</div></p>
