The south has been hot lately, with the north much cooler. Then we had a lot of rain and thunderstorms, so quite muggy. But it's supposed to cool off a bit again, I think. Overall the weather has been very changeable and very different regionally. I would pack layers, pack jeans and take a hot weather alternative. But I'm less certain about athliesure in Europe. Try some breezy skirts and dresses or shorts and capris. They're suited to the weather.<br /> I think a two week trip is a nice length to pack for. You don't have to plot out exact outfits, like for an event-packed weekend, but it also won't be as terrible if you forget something as if you were going for a month or two.<br /> But at this point, I'd be in an absolute panic. I usually start thinking about what to pack as soon as i plan a trip, start making sure none of it is in the laundry a few weeks out, and set aside a corner or suitcase. At first I just toss stuff into it casually, so I don't forget it, and then a day (ideally two days) before departure I start going through it more carefully, making choices. I think it's perfectly possible to look cute and even stylish in a yoga-pant/cropped leggings base with the right simple and pretty tops and a jacket (a jean jacket? a really cute lightweight cardigan?). Obviously you won't want to wear yoga pants for a nice dinner out, but for just sightseeing? I am going for 16 days but do have access to laundry.<br />This summer I have been living in yoga pants due to my knee surgery and physio. They have been the most comfortable for the swelling. I haven't had a pair of jeans on for a couple of months.<br />I have been fortunate to work from home so it has worked out well for me.<br />My plan now is to use my lunch hour to rummage through and lay the options out on my bed, Angie style! Hopefully there are some great options for some great outfits.
