Disclaimer -- I am not a huge fan of chunky sweaters however -- I love your color choice in #1the gray and green look wonderful together in addition to the fit of the jeans and the booties.

I also have a bias towards slimmer cuts so all of my advice goes against the volume inherent in a chunky sweater but I'll tell you my idea anyway. I would not blouse the sweater at all, I would find a wide (about as wide as your hand) belt in tan or cognac and belt the sweater and scrunch the sleeves letting the shirt underneath show. (that's just my 2 cents) That would mean loosing that fabulous necklace but it costs you nothing to see if the look will work.

Clearly I am a fan of #2 there seems to be more structure to the sweater or at least it allows the form of your body to show a bit more. I like the contrast of the loose sweater with the slim pants and the pop of color with the scarf.

Wow, you're lucky you can raid hubby's closet. LOVE number 2. Number 1 is nice too, but like the others, I think it would be improved with longer shirt tails peeking out

Love you in hubby's sweater - maybe you'll have to work out a schedule so you can both wear it - lol!

I like the colour of the first sweater and the cropped length, but am not sure that particular shirt works underneath it. This is a style that I am no expert in, so will leave it to others to work out the details of the sweater.

You are looking soooooo good BTW!

Lucky you being able to raid your husband's closet! I like the second sweater better than the first one. It's the length of the sleeves that are bothering me in the first one. I can't wear my husbands sweaters at all, he's much taller than me and the shoulder line and sleeves make me look overwhelmed.

Your hub's sweater looks pretty great on you.

Hehe, I think I might be able to wear my husband's shirts as a dress (he's 6'6"). It's darn near impossible to find sweaters long enough for him that are not too wide.

I really love you in your husband's sweater! Great look!

The other one is a bit trickier due to the proportion issues that you already tried to address. But I love the texture of that sweater.

Doesn't the length of things drive you nuts? (Oh, sorry, maybe it is just me who gets insanely frustrated about figuring out the proper length for tops and toppers...) I am still working on this and think it is more difficult somehow since I also lost significant weight and changed body shape. I think part of the problem is that the proportions that would have worked on me in the past are no longer the same, exactly.

I think they both look good, but maybe a longer shirt, or a tucked in shirt would work better with the first one. And I don't see why you shouldn't wear oversized sweaters. To steal a line from the title of a popular blog, you are already pretty!

Tracey, outfit no.2 looks good on you. And I like the over-sized sweater in photo no.1 but how about layering it with a longer top/shirt?

Okay, so it seems unnatural for a woman on a weight loss journey to embrace the chunky, over-sized sweater trend, but I thought I would give it a go...

This first look is my husband's Aran sweater bought by my son on the Aran Island!
It is wool, so needed a shirt underneath. My first attempt I had the sweater longer and the tail of the shirt was not exposed. Folding the bottom of the sweater and revealing the shirt made this much better in my opinion.

This second look is actually a very heavy weight GAP sweater than my husband has had forever and is one of his favorites. In fact when he found me trying out this outfit, he declared, "I love that sweater!" When I asked "on me or you?" He said, "Both" So I guess he didn't mind me raiding his sweater closet....

I posted an address on my blog if anyone wants to send condolences to Connecticut.
