Like others, I'm not a fan of poor-quality polyesters and acrylics, although nothing is an absolute no. It all depends on the blend, and how it feels to my fingers.

Sadly, I cannot wear wool, although I love love love the look of it. It makes me break out in hives.

Great jacket, hope it passes the test.

I'm not sure I have any fabric skeeves, may just prefer other fabrics more.

The only thing I absolutely will not consider is acrylic knits. I also don't like felted fabrics that have high polyester content because they feel greasy to me, rather than soft and luxurious like when they are all natural fiber.

I am skeevy about cheap acrylic knits. *shudder* Also not a big fan of that woven linen that looks like burlap. Or actual burlap. Some wool can give me itchies.

I HATE nylon ski type jackets. They give static to my hair with every swish and sway. Knots, flyaways - it's terrible. Same thing with certain acrylic sweaters, but I'm swearing off them now that I know the difference!

I did it. I purchased a non-ski jacket made out of manmade fibers. This is a huge leap for me, because I loathe artificial fabrics - micromodal, polyester, even blends. They don't feel nice to me (too slippery), and I don't like the way they drape. And spandex out here in the death heat is 100% a no. If it doesn't breathe, I don't wear it.

But - I love jackets that look like a denim jacket but aren't, so I took the plunge. Mister Wang did not disappoint in stye, plus it's a robust fabric with a slightly textured hand. Nothing too smooth or slick. Hurrah! Now comes the test, once it dips below 110 degrees here - how does it look with layers over and under? Stay posted. I know I am.

Am I the only one with these kinds of fabric skeeves?
