Thanks for the advice. I took advantage of a kohles sale and picked up some tights in blue and a cranberry rose color. I also picked up a couple of long sleeve tees in white and dark blue. This will help overall with the warmth factor......:-) thanks.

You could wear the skirts and dresses with leggings and a nice cardigan/denim jacket/blazer.

A denim jacket is a great suggestion and will go a long way. Tights in dusty blue, cream (heavier weight may be better), navy and deep pink ribbed are my first thoughts. Oh and maybe chocolate brown tights to go with the one in the bottom left of your pic, esp. if you have some other chocolate brown accent like a handbag.

Really all I have is black.....here is what I did early this month with one of the skirts. Trying to figure out other ways to wear these skirts...if possible for winter. ( and the cardi is suspect since it may make my shoulders too large....among other things)

The top left floral looks like it would work with a denim jacket or vest. You could add some slouchy boots to the mix too. The right top and bottom prints look like they would pair well with black--easily winterized. I think the bottom left print looks the most summery but I bet you could pair it with a soft brown to make it more fall/winter. The best bet is to post some pics so we can get a clearer picture. It's hard to tell from the swatches.

You need to try them on & post some pictures. Do you have coloured tights to try?

I think some of them should still work. I think the darker ones could pull double duty, Could you add leggings under some of the skirts?

I am new to the forum and you all just helped me to find my body shape after weight loss. I am having trouble, I have a tiny wardrobe and although I am not buying a ton as I am still loosing, my mostly summer wardrobe is looking out of sorts (even for my California Fall/Winter)I am trying to get the most use out of my dresses and skirts as they seem to last longer through weightloss..... Here is a photo of the skirts and dresses in question. I was hoping to bring out more colors aside from black and gray. Any suggestions for tights or blouse/ sweater colors that would have usage for more than one item? Should I just retire these summery items? Are they too summery for a Cali winter? I hope to NOT be able to fit in this stuff by next spring.
