I bought the cutest pair of Pacifics and they killed my feet. I guess they were way too wide and unsupportive, and it was actually painful to wear them. Nike used to be my go-to. I have every sneaker profile from platform to low-profile and I enjoy them all for different vibes. I admit my thicker-soled sneakers are getting less wear right now since the thinner ones have been trending. </p> <p>I would love another pair of Onitsuka Tigers when I see the right color palette, but I really seem to have most of my preferred colors already. I have a burgundy pair I got in Paris two years ago. The Tigers are classic and fit my foot really well. I think there’s enough variety out there in color and style to make them your own and not look identical to everyone else wearing them. My current favorites are Adidas SL72s. Adidas Tokyos, and Reebok Classics - they’re all cute, comfy and reasonably priced. Like the Adidas Samba - which is half the sneaker display at Nordstrom these days. Adidas is one of the top brands in the world, and the Samba has become iconic. I cease to associate it with sweaty, determined soccer players, or cool French kids. Now I associate it with everything, everyone, everywhere...it feels a bit sanitized.</p> <p>I do have something kind of in this shape, and I still wear them frequently. But I am more excited now about the Adidas shell toe, a throwback to my raver days.&nbsp; It looks like they are making them, so I will have that on my radar.</p> <p>In this flat-ish shape of shoe, I am still interested in sneakerinas. I don't know if I will make that happen. I know that most stylish people will experiment with everything...I guess I just have a certain thing with shoes.&nbsp;</p> <p>Maybe with a tracksuit, though...I would wear either of these with a track suit.
