I actually prefer the non-curvy Marisa fit, sized up, rather than the Julie. Weirdly last year the printed crops fit great (and I bought them) while the black ones in ostensibly the same cut were terrible. I'm hoping that's changed this year. </p> <p>My whole issue with the black pants is that they inevitably are either super stretchy (which I don't want for many reasons both aesthetic and comfort wise) or way too wide at the ankle. For example the br sloans fit but are so stretchy they always look a bit legging-like on my body (plus I find the fabric itchy) and the other br crops (Avery I think?) are gapey at the ankle in the size that fits my hips. </p> <p>Ps - I agree the black booties don't work. Are you sure they are a different cut of Teddie? I don't think they are. I have the stripe and plain black, and I have them in the same size and they fit the exact same way. (ETA: if I hem, I'll hem them up inside - i think the outside cuff is messing up how the bottom falls.) </p> <p>Should I hem them?&nbsp; They are their original length in photos 1, 8, 10, and 11 and rolled up once in the rest.&nbsp; You can see in comparing photos 1 and 2 (with the same shoes and top) that at their current length they cover up the ankle straps on my sandals.</p> <p>Which tops and shoes do you think work best? I think some of these really don't work, but am showing them all to you anyway.&nbsp; Anything else you think I should try?&nbsp; (Keeping in mind I don't do heels, or low vamp shoes really.)</p> <p>Note: these are not the same cut of Teddie pants that Angie has (in citron).&nbsp; They are a wider version.&nbsp; </p>
