I would pair the top with slim non-patterned pants that are more full length (to lessen any "pj" connection in your mind) and to lengthen the leg line - I would also add some extras such as a bold gold cuff bracelet, and gold necklace. Wearing jewelry seems like it would punctuate the fact that it is definitely not a sleeping shirt. These are two problematic orphans. I love the peasant shirt and the texture but have not found ANYTHING that looks right. It ends up looking like a Victorian nightshirt regardless. These soft pants are new and I love them but am having trouble matching....this is my only white shirt! I tried tucking at the proportions were better but it's too long and bulky to pull it off.
