And I agree Suz. When shopping was a 'thing', I was excited to see browns and greens, so I started snapping up what I could. I like playing with non-traditional palettes, and I figure that top is the same colour as the dormant grass on my lawn -- hence, a spring colour. Plus, although hidden in the photo, the scarf has a shot of vibrant green in it. I haven't worn "real" clothes since about March 17, and since I was blessed with an extra day off this weekend, I decided it was time to play in my closet a bit.</p> <p>I wanted to create a tunic over jeans outfit, but wasn't happy with any of the results, so nothing to share out of that. So, I turned to a few things I bought before the world ended and decided to play with those instead. <ul> <li>black and white striped wide leg Zara pants (eek - they fit better when I bought them!)</li> <li>trusty Birk Arizonas</li> <li>brass-coloured lightweight knit top from H&amp;M</li> <li>long, lightweight black cardi picked up at Winners</li> <li>tropical print scarf with black dots</li> <li>shell earrings of origin unknown. Never worn because I'm afraid to rip them out of my ears. But I still really like the idea of them, so I keep them.</li> </ul> For those who aren't fans of seasonal confusion -- apologies. It suits my mood today, given that spring simply can't seem to decide to arrive in my neck of the woods, despite what the calendar says. Anyway, thanks for looking.
