Hint: I keep all those down vests for wearing over and under these kinds of coats in winter. But I am further south, and our winter is not so severe.&nbsp;</p> <p>If that last look feels a bit off, it could be in the proportion. The coat is long and slim, the pants are wide and cropped.&nbsp;If the coat were a little shorter and slightly flared, it would be perfect.&nbsp;The long scarf has it all failing very gracefully. I like the idea of a smaller way to wear the scarf in the last—it’s somehow a lot of look and you get sort of lost. I like kellygirl’s suggestion of metallic footwear (want to borrow my boots?). What about colored pants? Crazy, huh?
