The first picture is an open-air bathhouse (Ribbersborg kallbadhus). It has saunas and a cafe and people can use it for winter bathing and skinny baths. It has different departments for men and women. I do not do winter bathing, but I like taking pictures of this building. It was built in 1898. In theory, I understand that spring should be lighter - there is different natural light as well, and we are looking forward to the summer. It seems like the weather is similar in your part of Canada as here (the very south of Sweden) at the moment, but I think your deep winters later on are much colder. Here, we have seldom really freezing cold, and rather short snowy periods. But the coastal climate makes it very windy, lots of autumn storms, and thus it often feels a lot colder than the actual temperatures. The windbreaker inner is a very practical thing for our climate. This one is several steps up from the usual, being made of wool and with that clever windbreaker inside. I’ve never heard of that, but it makes sense. Your high contrast styling is as great as usual, and I like the softness that this scarf adds to the ensemble. Well done!<br /> Your weather looks very similar to ours. I had thought you were considerably further north than me and would therefore be further into winter, but the trees look to be at the same stage as here, and the temp is similar too.
