You could always straighten your hair without the blunt bang, brush some hair forward, fold in half and see what you think. Bangs like that require a lot of maintenace though unless you plan to trim yourself. Orrrrr i read in a magazine once that you can try those bang extension things to see what it looks like before you commit. If that is what you are looking for, then go for it. If not, think about getting shorter and/ or layers around the face.</p> <p>The heavy bangs on pic 2 is another way to break the length of the face, but it's a trickier look to pull off, and a big risk if you don't like it, because those bangs take a long time to grow out.</p> <p>There is a big difference in look between the heavy bangs with layers around the face (think Goldie Hawn) and the straight "smile" shape heavy bangs (I Love Lucy). Either require maintenance, especially if you hair is naturally curly.
