I would call them again and say that you are considering a new watch and that you are very reticent to buy another Fossil. Or better yet, email them....get it in writing. Tell them that you are extremely disappointed that the watch expired before the battery. The bit where the yellow plastic band joins the metal clasp just seems to have slowly cracked and finally broke.</p> <p>It's just within a year of purchase, but I've just called the Fossill store and found out the band is only covered for 6 months blah!!</p> <p>I have to take it in store to see what can be done. I'm a bit worried I won't be able to get new parts for it since it was a limited edition yellow colour, and I can't see it <a href="http://www.fossilaustralia.com.au/en_GB/shop/women/watches.html?currentPage=0&amp;viewAll=1">on the website anymore</a>. Oh well we'll see what happens on Tuesday when I make it to the store!
