We are driving to Chicago this morning. Hubby will drive the entire way. We are staying with family who are amazingly warm and loving so I think they will let me set my own pace. The school that the camp will be at is a 5 minute drive from their house. My plan is : during weekdays family goes to work, bebe at camp, hubby and me can watch movies and catch up!<br /> This is a very big deal in little bebe's life: they receive applications from all around the world and offer spots to a select few. She is going to learn to use math skills and patterns to break codes in the morning session and learn about the human body and cell function in the afternoon sessions! Yes, your patients need you, doctor --- but you cannot be both doctor and patient, assuredly.</p> <p>Congratulations to Bebe though. Good to have some great news amidst the rain! Do rest up though, if you must take the trip; or if possible, 'be there' on video call instead.</p> <p>As Ceit said, exhaustion and meds can play all sorts of havoc with depth perception --- and doubtless you know this yourself. Go to sit on the chair ( something I've done maybe a million times hyperbolically speaking) when I crash, land on my right side, the chair topples over me and then I fall backwards hitting my head hard on the concrete floor. Dizzy, nasueous and with a gargantuan headache I see two more patients, then one of my partners sees me and I go home with muscle relaxants and pain meds.<br /> I still have a killer headache today.<br /> We are supposed to leave tomorrow for Chicago as bebe was chosen for a prestigious gifted and talented camp. We will go but I will not drive. Could someone send me some ' no more troubles for a bit' wishes?<br /> these pics were taken in the morning prior to any 'events' at school/summer camp drop off.</p> <p>ETA: It was not really raining I was trying to make a play on the 'when it rains it pours' saying. </p>
