When we drive into the city we try to park once and then take the train around town for the day. Alas, he is pretty anti-shopping so I won't get much NAS admiring done if it's the latter date. This will be my first time visiting the city--what are the must-sees? I'd like a mix of touristy and non-touristy things. Also, recommendations for good French and/or Chinese restaurants? We'll rent a car, but is driving around the city practicable? </p>
