OMG chewy...it's like you're in my head! I actually had a pumpkin scone from Starbuck's this morning (I have one every second Friday morning as my "payday" treat). I'm definitely going to try this recipe - thx for sharing!

Mmmmm, pumpkin. One of the best parts of fall. I love baking with pumpkin, my favorites being pumpkin cranberry walnut bread and pumpkin cheesecake. I will have to add this to my repertoire!

Yes, I do that a lot Rita. I love butter in baked goods, though. If I am going to have a treat, I want a TREAT!

Do you ever make baked goods with apple sauce in place of the butter? It makes them nice and fluffy and moist. We don't use butter in my house, so this is the only way I can bake.

I love the pumpkin scones at Starbucks, and when I was in the mood for baked goods for breakfast this morning I found this recipe:
http://www.momswhothink.com/br.....ecipe.html
I tried it out, and I even made it slightly healthier by using 2% milk rather than half and half, and I only used about 1/4 of the recommended glaze (cutting the sugar down a lot). This is an easy to follow recipe, and a fairly quick bake. I'll be making this again- so tasty!
