They discussed the high projected growth in this area of retail over the coming years and how the fashion designers are increasingly expanding their lines to include this market segment.</p> <p>From my couch, it was wonderful to watch these gorgeous, curvey models strut the cat walk in such beautiful plus size clothes. Optimally, there would be a wide range of model sizes and shapes, all integrated together in a single show! </p> <p>Not related to the runway show, but I saw this article in Marie Claire discussing how DKNY Jeans are now carried at Lane Bryant and Amazon.com in sizes 14-28. This struck me as a cool thing--had you heard about this? I have been living vicariously through all of Greg's pictures, but underneath every "oooh, aaah" was the knowledge that those clothes would never look the same on me. I'm not trying to bring up a size debate here or anything, but just wanted to share a link that I thought was really pretty. I understand the thought process behind using rail thin models to showcase gorgeous pieces of clothing, but I think this is beautiful too. Hope to see more of this in the future... </p>
