Many years ago, there was an earthquake in the Azores, and we didn't hear from family members for weeks. A number of people at work were frantically trying to ring loved ones yesterday. I have an old school friend there, but I know she lives in the outer suburbs. I didn't realise how bad it was because there was a bigger one there last September(it didn't cause as much damage and no-one was killed) so when i saw the footage yesterday at 1.30 I just thought oh no another one.. . It wasn't until later when they were talking about casualties that I realised.
