Stitches removed in a week, and there's hardly a scar there at all. I did not feel a thing while it was being removed, and it did not hurt at all later on. Just had to keep bandage on it (change it every day) for a week until follow up to have stitches removed. </p> <p>In the meantime - sending lots of good wishes that this goes totally easy for you and that it's nothing to worry about. I had a spot on my face once and the dermatologist left the room and came back and sprayed me with some freezing solution (the liquid nitrogen) with no warning. Pretty scary, but it did heal pretty quickly and facial skin is thicker than legs. Likely they will zap it similarly or slice for a biopsy. Either way you'll get some cream and dressing. Shouldn't be too bad. I have had it removed two times since then (I'm 43 now) . . . but it's back again. Sigh.</p> <p>The great news is that it is tiny (about 1/8 x 1/4"), and although it is cancer of a kind, mine is really NOT DANGEROUS--just an ugly souvenir of too many sunburns as a kid at the cabin.</p> <p>Don't panic, my dear.
