Gus was in a so-called "high kill" shelter and was transported by a charity to another shelter in a different state that had a much higher rate of adoption (which is where we found him). This is a picture of him just a few days after we adopted him - and he just wanted to say that lots and lots of doggies would be totally thrilled to get some decent training, and then be able to help a veteran who could really use some TLC and companionship. </p> <p>There is one requirement though - and that is a willingness to give up the ottoman when watching TV.
