Sveta, no- home insurance doesnt cover flooding unless you pay specifically for it....and we dont have it, but we're fine- so far, anyway! The worst flooding happened about 1 hr south of us, but the weather guys said the runoff from the local rivers will move north into the Mississippi river, which is only 4 blocks away from us. But we live uphill quite a bit, so we should be okay....thanks for asking!
