I used an out-of-print wizard robe pattern that I found on eBay, black fleece, velveteen for the hood lining and bought the neck ties on amazon.com. I am tasked with doing the makeup. One of my almost-seven-yo wants to be a chocolate chip cookie, so I braved my first visit to JoAnne's fabric store for supplies and actually cut out two circles (more like ovals) today. DS is so excited and fortunately doesn't care how it comes out. We did have to compare real chocolate chips to the dark brown felt I bought to make sure they matched, though. My other almost-seven-yo has changed his mind from being an M&amp;M cookie to being a "biker" ~ meaning he wants to wear regular clothes, his helmet and ride his bike. Another idea would be to take a wire hanger and straighten it out so that it fits in the length of the hat.
