(After hearing about your interview experience, though, maybe it was for the best...)<br /> I used to be in recruiting and we had a policy of not making an offer to employees until we had a definite "yes" from the client company so as to avoid disappointments like this. It's frustrating. On the other hand, though, it sounds as though the recruiter was confident in your skills, so maybe she will have luck finding other opportunities for you. </p> <p>I hear you about the main problem being the lack of interviews in the first place... with an over-flooded job market, it can take a heck of a lot of persistence to get your resume read. I hope you don't lose interest in graphic design, but maybe working someplace different like Anthropologie would give you a new outlet for using your skills, or give you some space to love your art again.
