We only had about 24 hours away. We came down on Saturday, shopped around for a bit, went for dinner, went to the concert, then met up with my cousin for brunch and a tour of the university on Sunday before heading back. Friends gave me a perplexed look when I said we were going on vacation to Seattle for my 40th birthday. Not Cabo, not Hawaii lol. The BF and I had a great time! And he made up for lost time shopping. He has a hard time finding nice men's clothing so Seattle Nordstrom and Mario's are heaven for him. Between all the good food and things to see and do, we had a full calendar the whole time. The university campus is gorgeous (I had no idea!), the food was excellent, the weather lovely, the streets clean, and the overall vibe was relaxed and cosmopolitan. And the show we went to see was one of the best I'd ever experienced. </p>
