We actually had to stitch it by hand because I couldn't get the slender Lycra leg to lay flat for my machine. But I used a makeshift stitch that stretched. Anything I tried to do to them, they wouldnt stretch quite the same and would bunch and get gross and stuff; I did patch one pair with a huge happy face patch though.
