I am sure that saving their lives gave us an exta special bond...sniff. Yes, he's had a rough time from the beginning...his mom had 6 pups, 3 were stillborn and the other 2 died from malnutrition and a uncaring owner (believe me, I didnt know until afterwards or I wouldve hand-fed all 3) then brought to us at 11:00 pm one night when he was barely 3 weeks old...terrified to this day of plates- I think she nearly suffocated him trying to force him to eat out of a plate (I STILL have to hand feed him every meal- and he's 9 yrs old!) and he had 3 eye surgeries before he was a yr old, later severely injuring (then re-injuring) his back leg in a wild jump attempting to get a squirrel, then severe allergies, then cancer...so he's been thru the mill ....but he's still a sweet puppy at heart! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/ot-happy-day#post-205320 Tue, 24 Aug 2010 15:06:36 +0000 shana 205320@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Great news!
